In todays post I'm going to show you the result of my school project.

Živijo,
tudi danes ne pišem o makeupu, ampak predstavljam izdelek, ki je rezultat šolske domače naloge.

As few may know I study graphic and interactive communications and this year we are working on few projects. For this one I had to do a Christmas card based on typographic elements.

I didn't really get any good ideas so I just decided to draw Santa with words that remind me of Christmas and New year.

Sem študentka grafičnih in interaktivnih komunikacij in letos imamo nekaj grafičnih nalog. Ena izmed njih je bila, da na osnovi tipografskih elementov izdelamo božično-novoletno voščilnico.
Spodaj sem priložila video postopka izdelave.
Kasneje sem risbo še digitalizirala in se malo poigrala z efekti. Malo nižje je viden še končni rezultat.

Here's the proces of me drawing the Santa

Later on I digitized this image. I simply took a picture of it with my phone and put it in Illustrator and vectorized it.

Then I played with the settings a bit and this was the result.

I honestly really hate the result, I think I could have done much better but it is what it is.  It turned out to be very "artsy" and "modern". Not the look I was going for.

I still wanted to share the process of making it just because (if you haven't noticed already) I absolutely love time lapses and I find them very sattisfying.

Z rezultatom nisem ravno zadovoljna, ker je voščilnica za moj okus izpadla preveč umetniško ampak vseeno rada delim postopek z vami in se ob tem še česa naučim.
