Review- Bourjois 123 Pefect CC cream +swatch

Hello!

Today I’m going to be telling you about this product you’ve probably already heard of but maybe you’re still interested and want to know what do I think of it. So here it goes.

I ordered Bourjois CC  cream on salma.si, but you can also buy it in most drugstores, I just bought it there because it was cheaper (links and other information are at the end of the post).
On daily basis when I go out and socialize I always put some kind of concealer or foundation on my skin to cover blemishes and everything else that I’m insecure about. I decided to try this product because of many positive reviews.

On the product it also says that it contains 3 pigments and each is for something:
  • Apricot: ANTI-FATIGUE
  • Green: ANTI-REDNESS
  • White: ANTI-DARK SPOTS
The product comes in 4 shades.

  • 31-Ivory (the one I have and the one on the photos)
  • 32-Light beige
  • 33-Rose beige
  • 34-Bronze
It also has SPF15!

Well I’ve been experimenting with this product for sometime now and I don’t know how to describe it. I used it over moisturizer and it was okay, I also used it over primer and it was also okay. I’m just not sure. The product gives me a light coverage and evens out my skin on face. That is really all this does. And It’s great. I still have to use concealer over it to give blemishes and under-eye circles a bit more coverage but it wouldn’t look that bad if I skipped the concealer.

You have to keep in mind that it is a CC cream and not foundation so you shouldn’t expect that high coverage affect.

Something that I really love about this product is that it is very light and you can barely feel it after it is applied. It is great for those days that you don’t want to look homeless in case anyone sees you or if you don’t like the filing of makeup on your face.
I know that my sister has this problem where she can’t stand having any form of cream on her face but she tried this one (after I literally forced her to) and admitted that she can barely feel it and that it doesn’t bother her at all. It also doesn't smell nasty, just like ordinary foundation.
It looks very natural and it does not leave a matte finish. It also doesn’t crease.

HOW TO USE

If you use it on its own It gives a light coverage and it looks really natural. However I would suggest dusting a little powder over your face (for example Rimmel stay matte or RCMA no color powder) just to make it more lasting.
You can apply it with your hands, just like and other cream or moisturizer, but I like using sponges better. Probably just because I’m used to it and don’t want to get my hands dirty.

WHO SHOULD BUY IT?

I would really suggest this product to people that have mostly clear skin and just want to use something light to look even better. It is really great for everyday use .
I would also recommend this to beginners because it is very easy to work with and you don’t need to use a brush, primer under it or powder over it. Just fingers. Although I must say that if you apply it with fingers it can be a bit streaky if you don’t blend well.
It is great for oily skin but not so great for very dry skin since it can look patchy. At least on me it does. But everything looks patchy when your skin is flaking off so there is not much they can do about that.
I also like using a moisturizer and/or primer under it, because it goes on better and it is also better for my skin since the CC cream it self is not as moisturizing as I would like it to be.

Overall I think it is a great product for everyday makeup with natural and dewy finish.

  2. My favourite CC cream would definitely be from L'occitane, it smells wonderful and always matches my skin tone :) But it is a bit expensive (around 30€ I think).
